Improve bone health prevention osteoporosis, running another big benefit!


The benefits of running is really too much, it's not, recent studies have shown that compared with the bike and swimming, running for bone health have a better improvement, especially good for female osteoporosis prevention.

Study's lead author Dr Joe, barney lombardi, said: "men and women need to moderate exercise every day to keep healthy. However, our research suggests that people who have osteoporosis risk may need to run more, rather than to swim or ride a bicycle."

Joe barney European endocrinology conference in Munich published his research. He added: "previous research has found that osteocalcin and regulate sugar metabolism of islet beta cells. Because of running higher than to swim or ride a bike to bring the skeleton of body load, it may be that these forces bone tissue signaling to the pancreas, to help meet its energy needs for a long time."

He continued: "our work proves that the skeleton is not just idle, but the active communication with the other organs and tissues, to promote the body's energy needs. We often found that metabolism and fracture risk with the same basic conditions are connected, so the more we understand the interaction between bone and metabolism of human body, the more will understand complex but important diseases, such as diabetes and osteoporosis."

After their study found that under the condition of the super endurance race cyclist will suffer from chronic bone resorption, namely the bone calcium released into the bloodstream, thereby weakening bones.
